Question:
Where do the teams play?

Answer:
Yorkville Athletic Association is proud members of the Paulding County Baseball Program. This gives our teams the ability to play a variety of teams across the county, verses having to play the same in-house teams over and over again. We believe growth comes with diversity. Teams could play at Yorkville, Union, Dallas, New Hope, Burnt Hickory, California (East Paulding), New Georgia, &/or Hiram. Fielding practices will be at Yorkville.

Question:
When does the season start?

Answer:
This information is not out yet, but we believe the season should start around March although practice may start sooner.

Question:
What is the age cut-off date?

Answer:
The cut-off date for each age is May 1st. Our ages are split by 3/4 (Tiny Tots), 5/6 (T-ball), 7/8 (Coach pitch/ Farm League), 9/10 (Kid pitch/ Minor League), and 11/12 (Kid pitch/ Freshman League)

Question:
Can my child play in a different age group other than their age?

Answer:
Kids may ‘play up’ but not 'down'. Teams are separated by age and not by size of the player. Each player will be required to provide a copy of their birth certificate certifying their age.

Question:
Is this only a baseball program? What about softball?

Answer:
This season we are starting with baseball. Of course our baseball program is open to girls and/or boys
